San Vicente Ferrer, presbítero de la Orden de Predicadores, que, de origen español, recorrió incansablemente ciudades y caminos de Occidente, solícito por la paz y la unidad de la Iglesia, predicando a pueblos innumerables el Evangelio de la penitencia y la venida del Señor, hasta que en Vannes, de la Bretaña Menor, en Francia, entregó su espíritu a Dios.
