Memoria de santa Teresa del Niño Jesús, virgen y doctora de la Iglesia, que entró aún muy joven en el monasterio de las Carmelitas Descalzas de Lisieux, llegando a ser maestra de santidad en Cristo por su inocencia y simplicidad. Enseñó el camino de la perfección cristiana por medio de la infancia espiritual, demostrando una mística solicitud en bien de las almas y del incremento de la Iglesia, y terminó su vida a los veinticinco años de edad, el día treinta de septiembre.
