Fiesta de los santos Simón y Judas, apóstoles, el primero apellidado Cananeo o Zelotas, y el segundo, hijo de Jacob, llamado también Tadeo, y que en la última cena preguntó al Señor acerca de su manifestación, recibiendo esta respuesta: El que me ame, observará mi palabra, y el Padre mío le amará, y vendremos a él y haremos nuestra mansión en él.
