En Hildesheim, de Sajonia, en Alemania, san Gotardo, Godeardo, Godeberto o Godofredo, obispo, que, siendo abad del monasterio de Niederaltaich, visitó y renovó varios monasterios, y al morir san Bernardo le sucedió en la sede episcopal, promoviendo la vida cristiana de su Iglesia, la disciplina regular del clero y abriendo escuelas.
