Memoria de san Estanislao, obispo y mártir, que, entre las dificultades de su época, fue constante defensor de la humanidad y de las costumbres cristianas, rigió como buen pastor la iglesia de Cracovia, ayudó a los pobres, visitó cada año a sus clérigos y, finalmente, mientras celebraba los divinos misterios, fue muerto por orden de Boleslao, rey de Polonia, al que había reprendido.
