En Langres, en la Galia Lugdunense, martirio de san Desiderio, obispo, de quien se narra que al constatar que su grey era vejada por los vándalos, se dirigió a su rey para suplicar por ella, pero fue condenado a muerte por aquél y se entregó libremente por las ovejas que le habían sido confiadas (c. 355).
